| The Renaissance team would like to wish you a very happy and healthy festive season, and to thank you for helping make our first six months a success. With the tide of opinion turning against the government, we feel that the recommendations in our recent report could hardly be more pertinent. 2022 will be a critical year for Labour – and Renaissance will be offering all the support we can. Engagement: We’ve held positive conversations with Keir Starmer’s team about what our first report means for Labour – and the need for consistent central messages based on work and good jobs, sound financial management, and a positive story about the future Britain. You can download our report here – which is based on conversations with 60 former Labour voters who each said they’d consider voting Labour again if the party can show it has changed since 2019. We have have also presented our research to the Tribune group of Labour MPs, with a positive Q&A. CLP meetings: Currently we’re touring local Labour groups to talk about our research findings with activists. We’ve recently met Isle of Wight CLP, East Devon CLP, and Colchester Fabians, while we have a host of further meetings lined up for January in the West Midlands, East London, Yorkshire and South Wales.
